Policies & Procedures

1) If you provide at least 24-hour notice of the regularly scheduled appointment time, you will only be charged the $5.00 slot fee. (Notification is classified as a phone call, text or voicemail message, or email).

2) If you provide less than 24-hour notice of the cancellation of the regularly scheduled appointment time, there will be a $20.00 fee. (Notification is classified as a phone call, text or voicemail message, or email).

3) “No Shows” are classified by not meeting your regularly scheduled learning session time and not notifying the tutor beforehand. “No shows” will be charged the total amount of the single session amount.

4) If you have more than 2 “No Shows” in a calendar month, your slot will be opened to other clients on the waiting list, and you will forfeit the money you have paid for the month. Please contact A Helping Hand Learning Academy to discuss this breach.

5) All cancellations and any inclement weather (interruption in Internet service) or personal emergency cancellations will be adjusted on the next month’s invoice.
